Job Description: 

We are looking for a new graduate for an internship within the Global Packaging Engineering Team at the Angelini Pharma Plant in Ancona.

 

The internship will be conducted in close collaboration with the Team, and the candidate will support the following activities:

Sustainability Trend Intelligence Support Supporting the compliance of products and packaging materials with global and local regulations. Defining and mapping the specifications of the packaging materials used for all finished products of Angelini Pharma, with the aim of updating the database of technical information on materials (e.g., material type, certifications, recyclability, weight impact percentage, etc.). This is essential for legal compliance with the new sustainability regulations that various European and global countries are adopting in line with the 2030 agenda and the sustainability goals defined through the "Angelini Pharma_ESG Strategy."

Smart-Pharma Supporting the study and implementation activities of new (sustainable) packaging materials within the SmartPharma project (new Sachet line). The candidate will be involved in the final phase of scouting and identifying new sustainable materials that will be implemented in the stability study phases with current products.

Production Line Support Supporting the team in managing in-line testing activities related to packaging projects.

 

Assigned Activities

  • Mapping the specifications of packaging materials for all finished products, as well as their legal compliance and impact in terms of weight percentage on the total product.
  • Building specifications for new sustainable packaging materials and validating them on the packaging lines.
  • Supporting the phases of digitization and optimization of IT systems related to the activities performed by the department.
  • Supporting production-related activities.

 

Required Skills

The ideal candidate should have a technical background with a predisposition for factory automation (preferably a degree in engineering) and be competent in using well-known software suites such as Office. A good knowledge of English and a team-working attitude are also required.
