Job Title:  Mechanical Design Project Leader

Fameccanica - Angelini Technologies is looking for a Mechanical Design Project Leader who can coordinate the mechanical design team for the execution of automation projects, with solid experience in managing mechanical projects and a strong technical background, enabling effective work in a dynamic design environment.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the mechanical design team for the execution of automation projects, ensuring proper flow of information, constantly monitoring the project's progress, and rescheduling activities as necessary.
- Collaborate with other Design departments in the planning and setting up of projects, in line with contractual requirements.
- Develop a comprehensive technical proposal of implementation times and costs, coordinating with other company functions.
- Provide technical support to Production during the assembly and testing phases of the developed projects, ensuring necessary technical modifications and project updates.
- Manage the team of collaborators, focusing on their training, motivation, and professional development, in line with company guidelines and HR policies.
- Prepare the technical documentation accompanying the project and ensure the drafting of the produced manual documentation.
- Support the Engineering Manager in organizing the Kick-off Meeting and managing design reviews with the Client.
- Ensure technical training for the client's staff on the machine architecture through theoretical training sessions.

Requirements:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a technical/design-related field.
- Experience in managing mechanical projects, preferably in the automation sector.
- Strong technical background and team management skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical design software (SolidWorks, SolidEdge, etc.).
- Knowledge of safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of English language.
