Job Title:  SENIOR BUYER IT & DIGITAL SOLUTIONS

Senior Global Buyer will support the Category Manager that is in charge of IT & Digital spend activities within Angelini Pharma.  The requirement is for someone with sourcing experience across a broad range of indirect categories, preferably IT.

Senior Global Buyer will be committed and highly motivated with experience in negotiation and relationship management.  He/She will work closely with senior stakeholders, across multiple IT areas (including Infrastructure, Service Delivery, Cyber Security, Data & Analytics, Digital Innovation) with full Procurement accountability and ownership of projects from end-to-end.

In the role he/she will be responsible for leading and managing all commercial and contractual interaction with external suppliers.

Key tasks for this position include (but not limited to):

• Proactively engage internal stakeholders, understand and collect business needs, identify key business requirements.

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process (RFI, RFP, RFQ, contract drafting & negotiation, supplier & stakeholder management) for Digital and IT spend.

• Create and develop sourcing plans based on internal requirements, supply market analysis and cost models.

• Actively participate to the definition of multiyear Digital and IT category strategy

• Implement local, regional and global sourcing initiatives and lead cross-functional sourcing teams through the internal procurement workstream. 

• Identify and document opportunity for cost reduction, process simplification and improvement and any other cross-country/cross-category sourcing, operational synergy or value capture opportunity.

• Operate within the boundaries of Global Procurement Policy.

Education:

• Education:  Academic background in Business/Finance or related fields strongly preferred. MBA or Post Graduate degree is desirable.

Skills Required:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in strategic sourcing or procurement related roles in complex organizations required. Strong category experience in the indirect space. IT background as a plus.

• Proficient in the use of personal computers and business software (in particular Excel and Power Point as an Advanced user). Fast learner when dealing with analytical tools.

• Excellent oral/written communications.

• Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken.

• Deep knowledge of negotiation techniques and ability to develop appropriate sourcing strategies to optimize value for Angelini Pharma.

• Ability to effectively communicate with respective customers and provide a good level of customer service. Also able to communicate the necessity for internal control standards and compliance procedures related to sourcing activities.

• Strong personal selling, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills and the ability to influence others in a team environment.

• Ability to present and articulate Sourcing strategies and Awards decision in front of a Leadership committee and to contribute to local and global sourcing teams.

• Strong attitude in building and actively seeking to develop relationships with other departments, functions and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a diverse audience through various formats including presentations, reports and face-to-face dialogue.

• Competent in the use of web-based procurement tools and reporting systems throughout the organization (SAP).

• Strong numerical, analytical and digital skills. Must have high logical approach to problem solving. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems/data gathered from a variety of sources.

• Intermediate knowledge of Legal frameworks and contract development.

• Keen to work within a demanding environment, with high performance expectations.
